Wrexham Council has secured 10 new electric vans to replace some of the diesel vehicles in its fleet.

The vehicles will assist the council’s housing department in delivering services such as on-site property work and repairs.
According to the local authority, the purchase supports its carbon reduction aims and reflects the council’s ‘continued commitment to energy efficiency’.
Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for Housing and Climate Change, commented: ‘Introducing these electric vans is another important step in reducing our carbon footprint and driving forward our climate goals.’
