Over a third of transport managers are uncertain about how to ensure their fleets meet net zero requirements by 2050.

According to research by technology solutions provider Microlise, just 38.5% of survey respondents confirmed they understood how to achieve the Government’s net zero goals, with 34% revealing they were unsure.
The third group of respondents reported that ‘they had an idea but did not know for certain how to reach the target’.
Published in advance of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, the research ‘reassuringly’ found that all companies who responded to the survey were conscious of the environment and sustainability.
Microlise CEO, Nadeem Raza, said that ‘reducing emissions is no longer something that is ‘nice to have’. It is now an essential process.’
He added: ‘While the government’s deadline is drawing closer, it is not too late to start the journey to net zero. It is easier than ever to begin analysing your fleet and start seeing where adjustments can be made which can simplify the process for transport managers.’
