ePower Trucks has appointed Jamie Jones as UK sales manager to support its new role as the UK dis-tributor for the Glutton all-electric street cleaning machine.

He joins after a successful spell in sales for industrial machinery. Based at ePower Trucks' head office in Oldham, Greater Manchester, his role is to grow sales of the Gluttonwith his initial focus on developing sales with local authorities, street cleaning contractors, visitor attractions and hospitals.

The pedestrian-controlled Glutton is a battery-powered alternative to ride-on street cleaners and powered barrows. It vacuums up any waste that can pass through a 12.5cm diameter tube; including paper, cardboard, cigarettes packets and butts, cans and glass, plastic and metal bottles, dog faeces, dead leaves and waste trapped in grills.
