A variety of Denbighshire County Council’s electric fleet vehicles are to be displayed at Denbigh and Flint Show this week.
The event on Thursday will see the local authority’s fleet services present a number of electric vehicles (EVs) – both council-owned and dealer-supplied – for public viewing.
According to the council, the show provides an opportunity for visitors to learn about how EV technology is being used across the county to support the community and the environment.
It will involve discussions with staff, as well as the council’s climate team, flood risk team, and recycling advisors – all of which will be on hand to explain how the local authority is working to support sustainable and climate-friendly service delivery.
Cllr Barry Mellor, Denbighshire County Council’s Lead Member for Environment and Transport, said: ‘The Denbigh and Flint Show is a fantastic opportunity for our residents and visitors to speak directly with our teams and find out more about the work taking place across Denbighshire.
‘From electric vehicles and climate action to flood risk and recycling, our staff will be there to answer questions, share advice and explain how these services support communities across the county.’
