Fleetclear has launched StreetVision, an AI-powered platform that transforms existing vehicle camera footage into safety, operational and environmental intelligence.
Unveiled at the company’s OnTrack event at Dunsfold Aerodrome this week, the technology analyses large volumes of vehicle imagery, converting it into structured, actionable data.
Fleetclear Chief Technology Officer Chris Waller said fleet vehicles capture vast amounts of information about their surroundings daily, but until now there was no practical way to use it at scale.
StreetVision extends fleet technology’s traditional vehicle-focused approach to the wider environment, automatically identifying road defects, litter and PPE non-compliance.
Gavin Thoday, Chief Executive Officer, Fleetclear, commented: ‘The real opportunity with AI isn’t always in deploying more technology. It’s in making far better use of what’s already there. StreetVision turns existing infrastructure into something more intelligent, more valuable and capable of delivering insights that simply weren’t possible before.’
