There is an app for AnyJunk.

Britain’s largest on-demand rubbish clearance company, AnyJunk, has launched an iPhone app which makes disposing of all sorts of trash as simple as a few taps on a mobile screen.

Jason Mohr, founder of the company, said that with the proliferation of smartphone use it was a logical move to provide an app to make it easier and more efficient for customers to communicate with AnyJunk to organise waste collection.

“There’s an app for just about every life situation nowadays, but as far as I know this is the first app that gets your rubbish collected,” said Mohr.

He explained that the AnyJunk app has been designed to be extremely user-friendly, logging the required information and then allowing for AnyJunk to quote for the removal job.

The welcome screen offers a button to tap to video the junk to be removed; then comes a multi-choice screen for picking a convenient collection time (the more flexible the timing the cheaper the service); the third screen requires the user to enter the location of the rubbish; and the final screen runs a check on all the information that has been input, allows for amendments, and finally sends an email, requesting a quote.
