Bridgend Council members have agreed to borrow around £1.2m to replace fleet vehicles, plant and equipment.

A report from the council identifies 31 of the 186 vehicles in the local authority’s fleet that need replacing alongside plant and equipment this year.
The types of vehicles and plant cited for replacement include a telehandler, two boxer vans, 15 custom vans, six tippers, and nine small vans/vehicles.
Council officers also proposed a review looking at how effectively the local authority uses its fleet.
