Spare a thought for the 15 maintenance engineers at Britannia Washing Systems who have been working around the clock to get vehicle washing systems in service for customers.
The company says they see a seasonal spike in at this time every year as businesses prepare for the likely onset of a winter weather.
Andy Barracliffe, director of Britannia Washing Systems, said: 'The winter months always take their toll on vehicles. They need to be cleaned more frequently with particular attention given to the wheels and chassis to remove grime and prevent corrosion.
'It is, therefore, essential that our vehicle washing machines are serviced regularly in order to cope with the increased demand and, as such, we have seen a big increase in enquiries'
