Multevo brings Nordic multi-purpose machines to the UK with new Wille partnership

Multevo has been appointed exclusive UK distributor for Wille Machines, the Finnish-built range of compact multi-purpose loaders used across Europe and North America. With an electric model due later this year and three years of in-field testing behind the deal, the partnership adds a new dimension to Multevo’s existing portfolio of specialist equipment for councils, airports and contractors.

Multevo, which has spent over a decade working with local authorities, airports and contractors to optimise their operations through specialist equipment, has announced its appointment as the exclusive UK distributor of Wille Machines – a range of class 2 to 7 tonne environmental management machines manufactured in Finland.

The deal brings to the UK a product line with a substantial international track record. Developed and manufactured in Finland, the Wille range has seen nearly 9,000 units deployed across Europe and North America since 1983 and is recognised for combining advanced engineering with operator-focused ergonomic design across demanding urban and rural environments.

Asko Sairanen, Export Manager at Wille Machines, described the move into the UK market as ‘a significant step,’ pointing to a shared vision between the two companies for ‘innovative and continuously evolving operations.’

A three-in-one solution

What sets the Wille range apart, according to Multevo, is its combination of the lifting and loading capabilities of a wheeled loader with the power and versatility of a much larger multi-functional tractor unit.

A front coupler allows for quick and easy attachment changes, with integrated loading arms enabling lifting, loading and general bucket work. Beyond the front of the machine, two further attachment points – one above the chassis and one to the rear – mean operators can run up to three attachments simultaneously from a single machine.

This versatility translates into a wide range of potential applications, spanning construction, highway and grounds maintenance, site cleansing and winter maintenance. The range comprises six models, each designed to operate in harsh conditions, with a maximum hydraulic flow of up to 210 litres per minute and outputs of up to 143 HP – figures that put heavy-duty, year-round tasks well within reach.

Operationally, the machines are designed with driver experience in mind. Loader operating speeds can be precisely adjusted, and individual settings can be saved for different attachments, helping to maximise performance and familiarity while reducing fatigue. A new exact cruise control feature is also intended to make switching between varying tasks easier and safer.

Compact and manoeuvrable thanks to articulated steering, the machines are also road-legal – reducing the logistical burden of transporting them to and from sites – and can be operated using a standard UK driving licence.

Years of testing before signing

The exclusivity agreement, which authorises Multevo to sell, hire and maintain Wille machines across the UK, follows three years of intensive in-field testing carried out within Multevo’s own contracting operations.

That hands-on approach reflects how the company positions itself in the market. Josh Sweeney, Director of Marketing and Growth at Multevo, said the business has ‘continually evolved to meet the needs of the market,’ describing Multevo’s dual role as both supplier and contractor as a key differentiator.

‘We experience our customer’s challenges first hand and this is why it was important to test the machines for a number of years in collaboration with our customers before reaching this exciting moment,’ Sweeney said, adding that the company has also invested significantly in a centrally located service and parts centre to support customers going forward.

Following the testing period, Multevo says it is confident the Wille range will deliver tangible operational benefits across a variety of sectors, including increased utilisation and productivity, reduced lifecycle costs, and greater flexibility across services.

Strengthening an established portfolio

The introduction of Wille adds to Multevo’s existing range of specialist equipment, which includes the Multihog and Mercedes-Benz Unimog. Backed by an expanded centralised service centre and a network of mobile technicians, the company says it is positioned to offer comprehensive support for selling, hiring and maintaining the new range.

Matthew Lang, Head of Specialist Equipment at Multevo, said the company’s experience as a UK-tested dealer for the past 15 years gives it a strong understanding of the conditions these machines need to perform in. ‘Wille machines are built for true four-season working, with the ability to operate a wide range of attachments across narrow streets, parks, depots, and estates in demanding year-round environments,’ he said.

Lang added that Multevo’s role extends beyond the initial sale: ‘We are here to help you choose the right Wille model from the range, the right attachments, the right fleet management tools, and the right support package for your operation. From expert advice before purchase through to aftersales care, servicing, parts support, and ongoing fleet support, our aim is simple – to give you complete confidence long after the sale is complete.’

A fully electric model, the Wille e475Δ, is due to join the range later this year. The Wille range is now available across the UK exclusively through Multevo, with demonstrations available nationwide for organisations looking to modernise their fleets and operations.
