Multevo marked their UK launch of a new multi-purpose suction sweeper vehicle with a Halloween themed charity video.

Multevo, the distributor of Multihog multi-purpose tractor vehicles in the UK, has produced a Halloween-themed video to coincide with the launch of their new Multihog CV Sweeper –‘Count Vacula’.

The Lancashire-based business decided to take a different and creative approach to their conventional product launches due to current circumstances around COVID-19.

‘2020 marks 10 years being in business for Multevo, so we had hoped to host a celebratory event to include the official UK launch our latest machine – the Multihog CV Sweeper,’ explained Josh Sweeney, director of marketing and growth.

‘The pandemic, of course, called this idea off so we decided to create a Halloween-themed video, hence the name Count Vacula as a bit of fun to hopefully provide some light entertainment as it is not an industry norm.’

The video shows Count Vacula fill up at a petrol station before embarking on a mysterious adventure, sweeping up pumpkins and bobbing for apples before ascending off-road to Dracula’s home under a creepy full moon.

Impressive drone footage captures the journey over Darwen Moors culminating with a lit up Darwen Tower, a local landmark close to Multevo HQ. The company has kept close to their roots by also producing the video in aid of Blackburn with Darwen based charity Nightsafe.

Nightsafe work with young people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless in order to provide them with accommodation and to support them with education or getting back into work.

As Jan Larkin, the charity’s CEO, explains: ‘Nightsafe was set up in 1990 to help alleviate the plight of homeless young people across Blackburn with Darwen. Our aim is still very relevant today as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary and even more so in light of the current COVID restrictions.

‘The incredibly generous donation from Multevo has come as we re-open our Emergency Night Shelter and will help us ensure that homeless young people have somewhere to go, somewhere to stay and someone to talk to.’

The Multihog CV Sweeper is an articulated, all-terrain and multi-purpose tractor unit like all models in the Multihog range, but stands out as a sweeper first and foremost with its strong suction performance.

Multevo are undertaking a COVID-19 compliant road show to showcase their latest machine and have a backlog of demonstrations booked up into 2021.

As well as sales and hire of Multihog equipment, the company also delivers highways, environmental and winter maintenance services using the Multihog machines.
