A Cotswold District Council bin lorry has been pictured leaning precariously over a river.

The refuse collection vehicle was pictured in Cotswold village Lower Slaughter last Tuesday (21 January), with three of its wheels on a collapsed verge over the River Eye.
The local authority was unable to say how the vehicle ended up in this position.
Cabinet member for economy and environment Tristan Wilkinson said: ‘The incident itself is being investigated to determine the cause.
‘The lorry was recovered on Tuesday and all relevant parties were contacted to arrange temporary safety measures and repairs if required.’
