Whale Tankers has signed a deal with US water jet-tooling manufacturer StoneAge for the distribution of its Warthog range of rotary jetting nozzles for sewer applications.

The arrangement makes Whale a distributor for Warthog in the UK and Ireland, as well as in the Middle East and India.

The Warthog range has three main models: the Classic, the Magnum and the new Switcher, which is a water-saving environmental product. The range will be available for order from Whale Parts as well as via the company's Parts Direct website and will be held in stock for either collection or next day delivery.

Whale Tankers managing director Mark Warmington said: 'We have known StoneAge and their excellent Warthog products for many years now and with our increased share of the recycler market, the synergies between our companies are now so great, particularly regarding the new Switcher range, we felt the time was right to enter into a formal agreement to market these top quality nozzle products'

StoneAge European dealer manager Andrew Birt said: 'We're absolutely delighted to have Whale Tankers representing our sales interests in the UK, Ireland, the Middle East and India.

'We've had informal discussions with them over the last few years and Whale was involved in the original testing of the recycling Magnum range. They have become so well known in the drain cleaning and recycler market, we believe they are most certainly the right partner for us moving forward.

'Our chief executive officer, Kerry Siggins, visited Whale's UK facility at Ravenshaw and was very impressed with the operation, quality of manufacture and, in particular, the knowledge and expertise of their parts and technical team. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial working relationship with Whale'

Whale's continuous dirty water recycler products are from its renowned and widely proven KaiserWhale range.
