NRG Fleet listed as one of ten ‘Ones to watch’

Published:  15 April, 2019

NRG Fleet Services has been named as ‘One to Watch’ in the 20th annual Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100.

The national provider of fleet management solutions is one of only ten businesses in the UK to make the list, which was published in The Sunday Times Business section on Sunday 7 April 2019.

The Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s top 100 private companies with the fastest-growing profits over the last three years. It is compiled by Fast Track and published as a supplement in The Sunday Times every April.

NRG Fleet Services, along with the other fastest growing businesses in the UK, has been invited to attend The Sunday Times’ Our Profit Track 100 awards dinner, which will be held on Tuesday 11 June at The Savoy in London. The dinner, co-hosted by Sir Richard Branson, will feature high-profile guest speakers, which in past years have included the likes of David Cameron, Gordon Brown, Nasa astronaut Mark Kelly, and Niklas Zennström of Skype.

NRG’s appearance on the ‘Ones to Watch’ lists follows other recent accolades including being named among the London Stock Exchange Group’s 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain and on the FT’s Europe’s 1,000 Fastest Growing Companies.

NRG Fleet Services Chairman Sid Sadique commented: ‘The Sunday Times profit track index is a leading industry measure recognising companies that are achieving exceptional rates of growth. NRG falls into this criterium and has a business model that allows for scalability into the future.

‘To be listed in The Sunday Times Profit Track index is a reward for our loyal and hard-working staff and leadership team and a recognition of outstanding customer service in a very competitive industry. We are delighted that NRG is growing in line with expectations and we see huge future potential in the industry from ventures such as Electra Commercial Vehicles, a world-leading company involved in producing heavy commercial vehicles operating on 100% electric power.’

Fast Track is a research and events company that has created a network of the UK’s top private companies through its rankings in The Sunday Times.

Over 21 years, more than 5,000 companies have featured in its league tables. They include nearly half of the UK’s c2,600 private companies with operating profits of more than £3m and almost all private companies with profits over £20m or sales over £250m.
