Published:  10 September, 2015

Two new vehicles will be launched by refuse collection vehicle manufacturer Dennis Eagle at this year’s RWM exhibition.

They will also be unveiling a bespoke telematics solution at their stand (5Y120-ZZ12) at the NEC in Birmingham from 15 – 17 September.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the Olympus Mini and the narrow Olympus Twin Pack for the first time and learn more about them.

The Olympus Mini is a new concept from Dennis Eagle, bringing the market-leading Olympus brand of RCV bodies into the 7.5t – 15t GVW range.

It combines high compaction ratios with exceptional manoeuvrability, helping to maximise payload and making it ideal for use in areas with restricted access. With a width of two metres it is available in capacities of six, seven or eight cubic metres and is suitable for bins ranging from 80 to 1,100 litres. Features include a continuous cycle option with optical safety barrier, configurable touch-screen display and LED lights.

The company’s new slim-line Olympus Twin Pack has been developed to meet the demand for more flexible and versatile recycling solutions.

And visitors can learn about the DennisConnect telematics system which is fitted to Dennis Eagle manufactured products and is available with several optional upgrades for bespoke waste collection.

Sales and Marketing Director Richard Taylor said: ‘RWM is a major event in the waste and recycling calendar. It provides us with an invaluable opportunity to meet customers face-to-face and showcase the latest company developments.

‘This year, we’ve extended our range with the Olympus Mini and Narrow Twin Pack. These offer the same features and benefits as our standard models, providing customers with access to an even wider and more versatile portfolio of waste and recycling solutions.’
