For the fourth year running, TIP Trailer Services is supporting a cycling team from the UK and Irish transport industries to raise monies for charity. Having previously raised almost £100,000 from previous events, this year's target is £40,000.

On Wednesday 24 May 2017, a diverse team comprising 44 team members of varying abilities will be heading over the Alps to Italy for a three-day challenge, in aid of two charities, The Donna Louise Trust and The North West Air Ambulance.

Starting from the base of Lake Garda with an eventual finish in Venice, the team will cover approximately 320kms during the three days.

TIP Trailer Services, managing director, Mike Furnival said: 'We have had fantastic support from all corners of the transport industry in supplying both team members and welcome sponsorship for two charities that rely on attracting private sponsorship for the successful running of their operations'

The two charities are:

  • The Donna Louise Trust which provides amazing care for terminally ill children and their families.
  • The NW Air Ambulance who provide an essential service to our own transport industry.

'Any help in supporting these two hugely deserving charities would be much appreciated. Simply just a click on the link below will guide you to our donation page. Many thanks in advance for everyone's extreme kindness, the support from the UK and Irish transport industries is massively appreciated by us all,' added Mike Furnival.
