Kubota has unveiled a new emission certified engine ' the V5009 ' to meet increasingly stringent standards around the world.

The five-litre, four cyclinder engine already meets the new EU Stage V emission regulation which will limit particulate numbers when it is introduced in 2019/2020.

Kubota says the V5009 designers have also aimed for high performance, low fuel consumption, compact design and easy maintenance.

Mass production will start from 2020. All industrial machinery manufacturers are now required to build their machine with emission certified engines, or to adopt after treatment device in regard to the required emission level.
