BTE Plant Sales has strengthened its relationship with Kubota, with the dealer now selling the manufacturer's machines in the West Midlands, expanding beyond its existing territories of Lancashire, Leicestershire and South Yorkshire.

Its territory now includes Shropshire and large parts of Warwickshire and Worcestershire where it already sells other brands. And a brand new West Midlands regional depot in Droitwich is being developed by BTE.

BTE's partnership with Kubota spans more than 25 years and both parties see a significant potential for growth in the West Midlands.

Jon Barnfield, sales director at BTE Plant Sales, said: 'We already operate in the West Midlands region for a number of other brands and, as BTE has such a strong relationship with Kubota, to also deal Kubota machines in this area is a natural progression for us.

'We have a loyal customer base in the region and as it is the most highly developed territory in the UK outside of London, the potential is very exciting. There are a high number of prestigious construction companies operating in the area requiring plant equipment and HS2 is just around the corner.

'Kubota is without a doubt one of the best brands we deal with and the quality of the machines has never come in to question during the entire 25 year relationship. Our customers love the reliability, productivity of the machines and their residual value when they come to sell.

'With regards to the West Midlands specifically, we have already appointed two experienced sales personnel in Nick Woolliscroft (covering the north of the region) and Josh Elliot (covering the south of the region) and achieved some strong deals with prestigious names in the area, including M and J Evans, Hannafin Contractors, McDermott and Worcester Hire Centre.
