Ransomes has added a Ventrac compact tractor aimed at municipal and grounds maintenance applications, to its product range.

The Ventrac 4500 diesel-powered tractor features a 25hp Kubota liquid-cooled, three-cylinder, diesel engine and a hydrostatic all-wheel drive. The machine also features a centre-pivoting-articulating frame, integrated weight transfer traction control and is available with a huge range of attachments.

Ergonomically friendly controls include an automotive-style parking brake and a weight transfer lever that operators can easily adjust for increased stability on slopes and for increased lift capacity.

With the optional dual wheel kit, the 4500 can operate on slopes of up to 30 degrees. The optional digital slope indicator with warning light in the dash allows operators to monitor the degree of slope operation.

The Ventrac 4500Y is suited for landscape contractors, municipalities, schools and universities that need to maintain large areas of property all year round. The model 4500Y provides an excellent combination of power and versatility and comes with a two-year unlimited warranty.

Alan Prickett, managing director at Ransomes, said: 'The Ventrac tractor and attachments is a fantastic addition to our current product offering. The range and diversity of the attachments is vast and I believe these products will provide customers with much more flexibility and choice.
