Boughton to bring McNeilus FELs to UK

Published:  26 July, 2016

Boughton Engineering has formed a strategic partnership with McNeilus to sell, mount and finish its Front End Loader range in the UK.

Boughton will also provide aftermarket support for parts and service for the Minnesota-based RCV body manufacturer. Initial units have been scheduled for early next year.

Announcing the agreement, Boughton Group managing director Richard Skan said, ‘We are delighted to have concluded this agreement with McNeilus and we look forward to developing a close commercial collaboration.

‘When Skan Group Holdings acquired the Boughton business five years ago, we made a commitment to the industry that it would remain at the forefront of the waste handling sector and that we would invest in the future development of the business.

‘The McNeilus Front End Loader (FEL) product has strong synergy and perfect strategic fit with our established waste handling products and will enable our companies together to support our customers with a significantly stronger offering.’

Boughton will reveal more detailed plans and information on the arrangement on Stand 5V50 at the RWM Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham in September 2016.
