Steve Mallard has become the new Operations Manager at Collett Transport Services (CTS), the refuse vehicle hire specialist
Steve has worked in the commercial and municipal vehicle sector for over 40 years, primarily in the Bristol and Avonmouth area where he was born. He leaves his role as business development manager at MAN Truck & Bus to join CTS.
He said: 'I am excited about this next stage of my career and becoming part of the team at CTS. The company has ambitious plans for expansion over the next five years and my role will be key to bringing those plans to fruition.'
He will be focusing on improving and developing internal processes and structures to pave the way for further growth, as well as expanding the team.
CTS's services include municipal fleet support including contract maintenance, workshop management and mobile repairs. It has a fleet of more than 170 vehicles and is part of contract hire and fleet management solutions provider Specialist Fleet Services Ltd (SFS).
CTS director Andy Collett said: 'There are few people with Stephen's experience and knowledge in the municipal vehicle sector and he will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to the company's development. We are delighted to have him on board.'
