Specialist trailer and equipment builder, Oldbury UK has taken over the role of UK and Ireland importer for Cayvol, the Spanish-based manufacturer of hydraulic chain- and hook-loaders.
Oldbury has been supplying a range of Cayvol equipment for some time, particularly as part of its articulated trailermounted, heavy-duty roll-on-off waste container system.
Cayvol currently installs equipment on over 1,000 vehicles a year at its base in Barcelona. Mike Nellist, who previously helped the predecessor UK importer when it offered the Cayvol equipment, will continue as an adviser to Oldbury.
Cayvol's 'Multivol' system features a sliding hydraulic column which enables a range of different sized containers to be transported. Automatic, hydraulically operated hooks locate onto the container ' and the system includes a non-return valve to assist the unloading sequence.
Lifting capacities are available from 3 to 30 tonnes and options include an articulated column and an hydraulic locking system which can accommodate different bin widths.
