Commercial trailer and bodymanufacturer Kel-Berghas installed a fixed axle weighbridge from Vehicle Weighing Solutions Ltd (VWS) at its premises to weigh every trailer and declare the correct weight of its vehicles.
Kel-Berg Director Simon Hall said: 'For each type of vehicle that we produce. We have to specify the unladen weight for our Certificate of Conformity.
'Most of our customers also want to know the tare weight of the trailer before any bodywork or plant such as cranes are installed. In the same way, we want to maximise the durability and payload of our products so its important information for us too.
'We used to have to drive to a local weighbridge but now it takes seconds and saves us time and money.'
