Fleet managers are being given the option to make their defleet vehicles 'showroom ready' with a range of new services being added to 1link Disposal Network.
Cars and vans can now be refurbished, stored, transported and inspected with epyx's widely-used disposal e-commerce platform.
David Goodyear, head of business development at epyx, said: 'In a disposal market where increasing volumes of quality stock mean that it is getting harder to differentiate your vehicles, we can provide the means to offer ready-to-retail cars and vans to dealers.
'Through our new arrangement with Bruntingthorpe, we are able to offer all the tools fleets need to ensure their vehicles are in showroom condition.
'This means dealers can buy quality ex-fleet stock online that arrives in showroom condition. It is very strong sales proposition.'
He added that a key part of the structure of the new services was that high quality pictures of the vehicle could be offered to dealers several days before the vehicle arrives at the dealership.
'This means that the car or van can be up for sale on the dealer's website before it even arrives and, thanks to the refurbishment and inspection services that we offer, you know that it will arrive in customer-ready condition. It saves days or weeks in turnaround.'
