Dennis Eagle has launched a children's book to try and change the recycling behaviour of families through practical parental engagement and interaction between parents and children.

'Dennis to the Rescue!' provides simple yet effective information for children and their parents which they hope will lead to more responsible recycling in the homes - the source of waste management.
The project is being run jointly with Skips Educational, a social enterprise that was responsible for the content of the book.
It was initially produced for 10-year-olds in Birmingham where it was intended to act at grassroots level in the community by encouraging people to change their perception of waste and recycling. But now they are hoping to bring other partners on board to deliver across the whole of the UK.
The book has been endorsed by councils and schools as an effective educational tool for social change in the community.
It also helps Dennis Eagle meet its obligation as a signatory of Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility, drawn up by Birmingham City Council.
If you would like to partner Dennis Eagle by sponsoring batches of the book so that they can be delivered free to local authorities in other areas of the country, contact Sales and Marketing Manager Lee Rowland.
