A vehicle body built specifically for glass collection is one of three new vehicles that have have been designed and built for FAUN Zoeller.

The glass collection vehicle has been produced by Austrian specialist Stummer. The dedicated vehicle uses a screw mechanism to move the glass into the body. As the glass is not compacted, wear on the equipment is also kept to a minimum.

The lifting device allows for all types of container to be utilised which gives great flexibility to any and all waste streams. Another useful design feature is the action of the screw thread as that helps axle loading.

A new MICRO HG with a small body and a side lifter has also been designed and built for food waste collection and other small waste stream applications. The 'tipper style' unit is fixed onto a 3.5 tonne chassis but this capacity can be increased to 7.5 tonne.

And a new HydraElectric (HE) vehicle which offers control of the tailgate and ejector as well as quiet operation and short operations with the chassis off.
