Contract hire and fleet management experts Specialist Fleet Services Ltd (SFS) will be celebrating three contract renewals at this year's RWM show.

SFS has just announced that its contract with Hambleton District Council has been renewed for another 10 years, with an option to extend for 10 more years. The contract involves the provision of fleet for the Authority's street cleansing division which includes waste and recycling collection.

This is the third time in succession that Hambleton has chosen SFS as its vehicle partner. Contracts with First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) and Teignbridge District Council have also been retained for the third time.

Paul Staines, Head of Environment Service, Hambleton District Council: 'SFS has an excellent track record in helping us keep our waste and recycling fleet running smoothly.We are rolling out a new service and we are pleased that SFS will be managing our entire fleet including street cleansing and that this will facilitate a seamless transition.'

SFS has recently boosted its management team with the appointment of two senior members of staff: Amanda Brown as Business Development Director and Nicola Finch as Financial Director.

The company will be exhibiting at Stand 5X100-Y101, alongside Collett Transport Services (CTS), the municipal vehicle hire company it acquired in 2013.
