The Commercial Vehicle Show, held at the Birmingham NEC from 14-16 April, is the most comprehensive road freight transport event in Europe. The Institute of Road Transport Engineers (IRTE) will have a significant presence at the show, offering visitors the chance to find out more about professional registration.
IRTE will be hosting free registration workshops twice a day throughout the show. Visitors will have the chance to find out more about professional registration via the Engineering Council (at EngTech, IEng and CEng level) and how this can help engineers and technicians who work in the road transport sector.
Workshops will take place at the IRTE stand in hall 5, stand 5G71, and will run every day of the show at 10am and 2pm.

Visitors to the stand will also have the chance to try out the UK's first ever virtual reality spray painting machine. Pioneered for use in the body repair sector for skills analysis and to train apprentices, the machine is on loan from Bristol-based S&B Automotive Academy.
