Fleet management software provider Chevin Fleet Solutions says it has broken its own sales records following the launch of FleetWave CORE.

Chevin describes its software-as-a-service (SaaS) package as a complete fleet, maintenance and compliance management system which is being adopted by organisations around the world.

FleetWave CORE is a pre-configured version of FleetWave enterprise fleet management software. Designed as an out-of-the-box solution, complete with full hosting and support, it contains the fundamental tools and reports required for smaller operations to successfully manage a fleet.

Global director of sales and marketing David Gladding said: 'We are delighted with the number of sales of FleetWave CORE in the first six months following its launch. We are surprised how many smaller operations still rely on paper-based processes and spreadsheets to manage their fleet.

'Organisations are investing in software, such as FleetWave CORE, as an easier way of storing, accessing and understanding fleet information, which enables better utilisation and management of their assets. Errors and administrative processes are reduced as the need to manually report on performance and associated fleet costs is removed'

The software has undergone a series of updates since it was launched with the latest release version set to include additional reporting features, KPIs and a stock inventory module. The module will enable users to carry out stock takes and adjustments, assign parts to job cards and create low stock level alerts for re-ordering. It is fully compatible with the FleetWave Forms mobile app, enabling field-based data collection, including defect reports, expense capture, accident reports and more.

David Gladding added: 'We strive to continuously develop FleetWave CORE with the aim of making it the very best SME level fleet system on the market. With tighter emission standards and new legislation coming into effect, it's becoming increasingly essential for fleets to ensure that vehicles are meeting their operational needs whilst being aligned with legal and regulatory responsibilities'
