The Triscan Group, which is one of the UK"s largest manufacturers and suppliers of fuel management systems, has acquired Timeplan Fuel Solutions. Timeplan has been providing fuel management solutions since 1978.
Managing director Andrea Whittaker said: "The two companies have been friendly competitors for many decades.

The Triscan Group was originally formed in 2013 when two UK fuel management providers, Triscan Systems and Datatrack, merged.
The group filled a gap in the marketplace offering fuel management solutions to a wider variety of customers who bulk store fuel.
Today, all the company's fuel management systems are compatible with a wide range of vehicles in the road, rail, water and air transport sectors.
