Riverside Truck Rental has added 16 Isuzu Forward N75.190 rigids into its spot rental fleet as part of a major fleet investment programme, making Isuzu now the favoured choice for Riverside in the 7.5 tonne GVW category.

'We have operated Isuzu trucks within our fleet for many years now on different applications and we have found that, at 7.5 tonnes, they offer a very impressive payload indeed,' said Chris Snelson, Fleet and Asset Director, Riverside Truck Rental.

'We find that the Easyshift automatic transmission option is a really attractive proposition for our customers. We have also had excellent customer feedback about the performance and reliability of the Isuzus in service, so the decision to increase the number of Isuzu 7.5 tonners in our fleet was a simple one'

The latest fleet additions are all Isuzu Forward N 75.190 (E) rigids fitted with Geesinknorba RCV compaction bodies and trailer lifts.

With its head office in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, Riverside Truck Rental is one of the largest truck and plant rental companies in the UK, now operating a 2000 strong vehicle rental fleet nationwide.

Riverside specialises in key niche sectors, including refuse and recycling trucks and the latest 16 Isuzu compaction trucks will be working within the Riverside fleet for a five-year period, covering anything from one day spot hire through to long-term rental all over the UK.

Managing director of Isuzu Truck UK Pete Murphy said: 'Whatever the application, from diverse operations including refrigerated transport and building/construction, right through to waste management and recycling, the Isuzu 7.5 tonne rigid gives customers the performance and reliability required for demanding specialist operations'
