Keenan Recycling chose to migrate its systems to PurGo waste management software earlier this year to manage all waste collection and management processes end-to-end.
Collections Director, Claire Keenan, explained: 'We were looking for a system that would allow us to access all our information from one place and that is what PurGo has given us.'
A key part of the company’s decision to make the change to PurGo was its 'seamless integration with VWS ENVIROWEIGH bin weighing and the positive recommendations from other businesses in the industry,' Ms Keenan added.
The software’s usability and functionality has helped the company halve the time they spend entering and accessing data compared to the previous system.
Automated reporting and live tracking are key features highlighted by Keenan Recycling.
Ms Keenan said: 'Knowing where the vehicles are and being able to view their routes allows us to perform route sequencing verification – ensuring the routes are set up in the most efficient ways.
'Moving forward, we will start to use other PurGo features such as the Customer Portal and use it for case management. We also hope to improve the management of our carbon savings, which aligns with our focus on sustainability.'
