Cumbria Waste Management has acquired two 13 tonne Multilifts with drawbar trailers from specialist equipment supplier, Londonderry Garage.
The current Multilift fleet is mounted on a range of chassis including DAF, Mercedes-Benz and Scania and seven of the 17 strong fleet also have trailers.
Some of the Multilifts will be working on Cumbria Waste Management's major new contract following their acquisition of South Lakeland District Council's waste management division which has some 15,000 commercial customers across Cumbria, North Lancashire, the North East and South West Scotland. Cumbria Waste Management is part of the CWM Group which is owned by Cumbria County Council.
It provides tailored waste management and recycling solutions for commercial customer, households and local authorities.
